Please join us on October 31st at Lodo's Bar and Grill - Rox Room (Mattie's House of Mirrors) to celebrate Halloween evening in your finest costume. The festivities will start at 8:00pm.
In addition to celebrating Halloween, we are again holding this party in honor of our good friend David McCauley. On September 14 2008, David had a tragic diving accident which resulted in a neck fracture and severe damage to his spinal cord. He has already had several surgeries to repair the damage done and to strengthen his spine. Currently, David has limited feelings in his neck and below his chest. David has continued to make amazing progress and plans on making the trip to Denver to be in attendance for the party!
Those who have crossed paths with David know that he is a person full of life who is blessed with a very strong and positive mind. We are all praying he will regain the use of his whole body through a long and aggressive rehabilitation process. To help offset the tremendous medical costs he is incurring during his rehab, we are asking for an admission fee and in addition, we will be raffling off items to increase the amount we raise for David. Last year's raffle prizes included Snowboard/Skiing Equipment, Hotel/Resort Accommodations, Outdoor Gear, Musical Instruments, Lift Tickets, Art, Sports Paraphernalia, Yoga/Fitness Classes, Restaurant gift certificates, etc. We are still collecting raffle items for this year's raffle. This year we hope to collect even more items and we will continue to update the evite with all of the great items that will be included in the raffle. Prices for the fundrasier will as follows:
- Suggested donation for admission: $25.00 per person
- Raffle prices: (5) $25.00 or (15) $50.00
We will be providing tax information for those interested.
